The Kingdom of Formby was established on 2 June 2007 by Edward Fox-Ford and Peter Magee. Edward was made King and Peter was made the Duke of Sortina, one of the county's in the Kingdom. King Edward and Duke Magee both recruited citzens from their schools and by August 2007 they had recruited 27. In December 2007 King Edward founded the Imperial Council to govern his vast Kingdom, but in May 2008, after Duke Magee was removed from the council by other members and Kign Edward did nothing the Duke declared Sortina independent as a Grand Duchy. The war is still ongoing and three battles have been staged all along the borders, but no progress has been made.
