Goma Plateau is the area around Mt. Aleph which was raised up after the Event of the Golden Sun. This is where Garet and Isaac reside, in a cabin built on the Plateau, observing and studying the after effects of the Golden Sun. Here they raise Matthew and Tyrell to be warriors, such as themselves. The Plateau is the starting point in the game, and is near Tanglewood forest, an old pysnergy stone mine, and is located in the west area of Angara, it overlooks the area that once was Mt. Aleph. When the player returns to this area after completing the story line, while walking back on the bridge, they witness a Psynergy Vortex.
