abstract	Frigid Moon (Dt.: Eisiger Mond) ist ein Schlag-Arte. When the arte is used, the user slashes with their sword in the air, creating a crescent moon of ice with the upward slash, exploding it with the second downward slash. In Tales of the Abyss, this arte can only be executed if Crescent Strike is used within a fully-charged Water or Dark FOF Circle. In the PlayStation 2 remake of Tales of Destiny, this arte can be obtained after defeating Lydon Bernhardt, Ilene Rembrandt, or the final boss on the "Hard" difficulty or higher. The arte is added to Stahn's movelist automatically after defeating any one of these boss enemies. The Director's Cut version increases this requirement to the "Evil" difficulty or above. Originally, an alternative option was available to obtain this arte without fighting any of these bosses on the required difficulty. After completing various minigames on the official Japanese website for the game, the player could receive passwords that can be submitted to the "Traveler's Hut" within the game, granting this and other new artes to the characters. These minigames were removed from the website as of May 31, 2007, so this option is no longer available.
