Yuka succeeded Arunta as the second leader in the supposed 'Age of Culture' experienced by the Aboriginal Union. Born in 1601, his passion for visual art combined with his brilliant political skill made him an excellent choice to lead the Union. He came to power in 1623 and died in 1648, which makes him one of the longest ruling Union leaders. He was also noted in history for his loyalty to the traditions of the Union.
