After the war, Molander was a member of the Swedish National Team at the 1920 Summer Olympics hockey tournament. He was one of the few players on the team who had prior experience playing ice hockey - the majority had only played bandy hockey in Sweden. Despite continuing to represent Sweden at the 1922 and 1923 European Championships and the 1924 Winter Olympics, Molander continued to play for Berliner SC in Germany. He played for the team when they traveled to Sweden to play the first ice hockey games on Swedish soil. He was also a part of Berliner SC's speed-skating section. He competed at the 1914 European Speed Skating Championships.
