Furthermore, considering that he is in an entirely different dimension, the only way he is able to perceive the other world is through his absolutely dominating sensory prowess, which is enough to allow him to give an approximation about where he is in the real world, though he is generally a few degrees off of axis from where he wishes to land. It should also be noted that the technique is very difficult, and impractical, to use in combat, unless escaping from it.
