The Legacy Operation was a Dev-sponsored roleplaying event that took place in May and June of 2008. The event sought to help establish more of the history of Skytopia, as well as change the game world. The Operation consisted of new missions, an influence race for control of six Skylands (Lhasa, Arcadia, Uurwerk, Jordan, Getty and Earthbreach) and a series of contests incorporating player-created artwork, fiction, back-story and aircraft design. Rewards, while still being 'resolved' in the RP sense, were given in 3 categories: Legacy, Technology, or Information.
