Naszar was a mountain ranged on Shakuras, considered sacred by the Nerazim. For centuries, Nerazim traveled to the region to meditate and train in bending the Void to their will. The mountains also happened to contain some of the largest resource deposits on Shakuras. Over a year prior to the Reclamation of Aiur, the Hierarchy proposed mining the site for the deposits. Vorazun protested against the decision, but eventually relented.
