They usually attack in groups and are encountered early in the game. Due to attacking in numbers, players may be tempted to use Bio Blast on them, however it will be ineffective as Wererats absorb Poison. The best strategy is to group-cast Terra's Fire spell against them, which will hit their weakness to Fire and likely kill them in a single turn. Having the same sprite as the Wild Rat, it also has the same palette color.
