Many of the members of the Kaneko Clan can already move at unseeable speeds, which might suggest that this technique was specifically designed to be used against dojutsu users. This very same speed is also a huge weakness. It is very difficult for users to change directions while moving at this speed, making them an easy target. More proficient users are able to overcome this weakness by decreasing how far they travel. This makes it harder for the opponent to exploit the weakness while making it easy for the user to react. Other users like to overcome this weakness by learning Reduced Earth's counterpart, Raised Earth, to give themselves the ability to come to a complete stop whenever they want.
