- The Stork is a bird seen in Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms. The Stork acts as decor, being neither useful nor harmful to the players, and appears in maps set in Africa, such as Serengeti, but also in maps set in Southeast Asia, such as the Strait of Malacca.
- The Stork is a nameless character that appears in L. Frank Baum's first Oz book titled The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, published in 1900. She is introduced in the eighth chapter of the book titled The Deadly Poppy Field. She is a female stork with big feathers and a long-neck. She lives in the magical Land of Oz, and like all the animals in Oz, she can talk and communicate with humans and other living beings. She is also a mother stork who has a nest of babies somewhere in Oz, most likely somewhere within the eastern quadrant called Munchkin Country.

- They are named for their long legs and tall height, about twice that of an AC, and is reverse joint in appearance. The unit apparently is unmanned and was designed as a high-capacity combat unit with excellent power and decent defense. They are fairly agile and are capable of flying for fairly good distances, by using their boosters which are mounted where the arms would be normally. They are equipped with quad rifles with two rifles mounted on each side of the torso.
- When a straight, married couple wishes to have a baby, they usually go to the hospital. When they arrive at the hospital and their intentions are made known, a stork is notified, and after 12-48 hours of flight time the stork will bring baby to the hospital. After the stork cuts umbilical cord (used to teather the baby to the stork during flight) the infant is delivered directly into the mother's arms. Although, they are often by that point crying, windburned, and covered with blood and smashed insects due to the rigors of flying hanging from a storks beak.
- One early morning when delivering the Mario Bros., Kamek came and snatched one of the babies and kidnapped the Stork. He holds the Stork and Baby Luigi as prisoners. This leads to the main plot where the Yoshis decide to reunite Baby Luigi with his brother using the Stork's map to guide them. After a long and dangerous journey, the Yoshis finally come and rescue the Stork and Baby Luigi. The twins are reunited and the stork flies away into the night. The Stork is seen flying past clouds and mountains until it finally arrives at the village were Mario and Luigi's parents live. He leaves them at their door before flying off again to continue his work.
