In 1984, Gonzo appeared in Miss Piggy's Art Masterpiece Calendar in "Arrangement in Gray and Black with Creep (Whistler's Weirdo)". Variations of the painting have also appeared in The Muppet Show Pitch Reel (representing Kermit's Mom), the Muppet Meeting Film "Sell Sell Sell!" (the actual painting projected, during a speech on motherhood), and Time Piece (where she was played by a live actress).
