The cabis was a handaxe designed as a throwing weapon composed of a haft and a double-bitted head with roughly lozenge-shaped points in place of the usual straight or curved edges. It was used mainly by the ancestors of the Beornings and Dunlendings (The Beiabarnae and Dunmen).
