  • Adam Daniel Kinzinger (February 27, 1978 - is an American Republican politician the President of the United States from 2029 to Present . He was the last Republican elected to the office prior to the merger of that party with the Democratic Party in 2037, a merger he advocated for and helped broker. Prior to the Presidency, he served as Governor of Illinois from 2023-2028, and as a U.S. Representative from 2011-2023. He was the Republican Party's Vice Presidential nominee in 2024, appearing on the ticket with Florida Senator Tom Rooney. Kinzinger, who served in the Air Force and Air National Guard and was stationed in Iraq twice, was the first President since George H.W. Bush to have been an active-duty member of the armed forces.
