| - Star Trek: USS Alexander is an on-going RPG campaign set on board the Saladin-class USS Alexander. The campaign began in 1992 and has run intermittently for over 20 years, with gameplay running the gauntlet through every authorized Star Trek RPG and even some homebrew systems. The story follows the crew of the Alexander, a ship with a checkered past, a tarnished reputation and according to scuttlebutt—is cursed. The majority of the crew on the current five-year mission is new to the ship, along with survivors from the last mission before the ship was refitted. Few of the old crew will speak of "the Incident," instead trying their best to put it behind them. The shadows of the past however are not so easily forgetten, but permeate insidiously into every mission and encounter that the Alexander undertakes. These are the stories of the Alexander's flight into darkness and redemption.
