Paul Edney is an actor who has made an appearance on Lost as a background member of the Flight 815 survivors throughout early season one. The questions were created by Sam McPherson, and the interview was conducted on June 17, 2008. I heard about the "Lost" pilot through the grapevine and contacted the Background Casting Director Julie Carlson who hired me. When the plane's wing fell to the beach was very dramatic. Also, the Set Director showed the Background Actors one day a series of pictures of real plane crashes. He was using them to make the "Lost" set as real as possible.

The location on the beach was fantastic. The rest of the Background were mostly easy to get along with. It's a small Acting community so most of us know each other. Some of the PA's were a little difficult at times, but they are under a lot of stress, so understandable. The Los Angeles crew tended to be stand-offish but a few were friendly. Casual viewer. Don't have much time to sit and watch TV. No particular favorite character. Plenty. See my Resume at www.pauledney.com
