| - Jon: Demand for healing Pokemon is high today. Nurse Joy: Please calm down! Officer Jenny is locating the poacher. Nate: Poacher! Tyler: What's a poacher? Jon: Someone or a group of people who collect Pokemon to sell onto a higher bidder. Tyler: That is awful. Trainer #1: Did you find him? Trainer #2: Please say you have! Officer Jenny: I have tried but I can't find him. Jon: Maybe if a rare Pokemon was used. Nate: What are you thinking? Nate: What are you thinking? Jon: The Poacher is after a rare Pokemon, and if we can find the Poacher, then we get the Pokemon back. Tyler: By using Cyndaquil as bait?! Officer Jenny: That is too high of a risk. Jon: Me and Cyndaquil have a strong bond which will help us find each other, right Cyndaquil! Cyndaquil: Cyndaquil! Officer Jenny: If you say so. Nate: There need to be a flying Pokemon above, but it needs to be small so the Poacher won't suspect a thing. Trainer #3: I still have this one. Jon: What is that Pokemon? Nate: A Combee. Tyler: Combee? Tyler's Pokedex: Combee, the tiny bee Pokemon. It collects and delivers honey to its colony. At night, they cluster to form a beehive and sleep. Jon: Interesting. Officer Jenny: You sure you want to use Cyndaquil as bait? Cyndaquil: Quil, Cynda, Cynda. Jon: Cyndaquil is confident he can get the Pokemon back. Nate: With that plan in place, lets go. Poacher: A Cyndaquil. My catch of the day! Cyndaquil: Cynda? Jon: It'll be risky for you to go. Trainer #3: Oh okay. Combee, do your best! Combee: Bee. Goon #1: A Cyndaquil? Goon #2: And it was just “walking around”? Poacher: Yeah. The best and easiest catch of the day. Goon #2: Though we do have a lot of Pokemon to sell now. Goon #1: What are Cyndaquil's moves? Nate: If Cyndaquil uses Double Kick, then they will sell him for sure. Tyler: Nate's right. Jon: Get Raichu ready. Officer Jenny: With Cyndaquil still there, this won't work. Jon: Cyndaquil can hear my heart. Jon (In head): Use Tackle. Poacher: Basic move. There's has to be something else. Nate: Go. Jon: Not now, when Smokescreen is used, Raichu can get all the Pokemon from the cages. Officer Jenny: Nice plan. Goon #2: It will still sell for a good price as a normal Cyndaquil. Jon (in head): Show off your Ember attack. Poacher: That Ember is powerful. Now that raises the price. Goon #1: So what else? Jon (In head): Smokescreen! Goon #1: You going to show us another move? Cyndaquil: Cynda. Goon #1: Golbat, get rid of the Smokescreen. Poacher: Hey, what is that Raichu doing?! Goon #1: Golbat, Air Cutter! Poacher: A kid?! Jon: Give the Pokemon back! Tyler: What is Jon doing? Goon #1: You aren't going to win! Golbat, Air Cutter again! Poacher: The Cyndaquil is helping the kid. Goon #2: Good thing it is still in a cage! Jon: Use Double Kick! Poacher: So Cyndaquil is yours?! Jon: That's right. Poacher: Didn't think I need to use my Pokemon. Goon #1: Uh-oh. Jon: Uh-oh? Jon: An Ursaring?! Poacher: Now you're scared. Use Focus Blast! Nate: Get the Pokemon out! Jon: But? Nate: No. Go. Goon #1: No can do. Supersonic! Tyler: We have this guy. Goon #2: Urgh. Lets go, Magmar! Officer Jenny: We have this. Save the Pokemon. Jon: Right. Jon: Use Ember! Jon: Don't give in Cyndaquil! Poacher: That Ember looked strong, but I was wrong. A weak move for a weak Pokemon! Jon: What was that move? Nate: Cyndaquil learned Incinerate. Jon: Incinerate? That's so cool Cyndaquil. Jon: Is Cyndaquil okay? Nurse Joy: Cyndaquil is doing well. Jon: That's good. Jon: The Egg is hatching! Tyler: Not long till Wooper is here. Nate: Ah, a female Wooper. Jon: Female? Wooper: Per, Wooper. Jon: Hey Wooper, I'm Jon and this is Cyndaquil. Lets be good friends while travelling together. Wooper: Wooper! Nate: Seems like my gift will add to your set. Tyler: Gift? Oh yeah, when we met you mentioned a gift for Jon. Jon: What is inside? Nate: Find out. It will be helpful in your next battle. Jon: A Pichu? Jon's Pokedex: Pichu, the tiny mouse Pokemon, and the pre evolved form of Pikachu. The electric sacks on their cheeks are small. If it tries to store more electricity than they can hold, Pichu will shock itself. Jon: Cool. Nice to meet you Pichu. Pichu: Pichu! Nate: Pichu, you will be travelling with Jon now. Tyler: So you have three Pokemon now. Jon: Yeah. Hopefully we will be able to beat the Gym Leader of Violet City. Nate: You won't have to wait long. That is Falkner, the Gym Leader. Jon: Whoa. Falkner: Nate, long time no see. Nate: Hey Falkner. Tyler: You're Falkner, the Gym Leader right? Falkner: Yeah. Jon: Can we battle you? Falkner: It will be a privillage to battle against you two. Though who will battle first? Tyler: Jon, you can. You always wanted to start strong. Jon: Okay. Falkner: Good. I'll see you tomorrow morning in the Gym and then I'll battle your friend in the afternoon. Tyler: Nice. I'm Tyler by the way. Jon: And I'm Jon. Falkner: Nice to meet you. I'll look forward to what you bring to the battle tomorrow. Jon: That Pidgeotto, it was there when we battled the Poachers. Nate: Yep, that's Falkner's for sure. Tyler: You know your strategy? Jon: Yeah. Jon: Tomorrow, we will get our first Gym badge. Narrator: Jon, Nate, Tyler and Officer Jenny stopped the Poacher and his crew. Now, with his newly hatched Wooper, and gift Pokemon Pichu, Jon will battle Falkner to get his first Gym Badge!
