UWAC Mega 64: Qualifying was a special qualifier tournament held by the Classic Wrestling Federation. The tournament pitted 16 of the top competitors in the CWF, chosen by Mark X., against each other for the right to represent the CWF at UWAC pay-per-view. The UWAC was an confederation of 5 feds, including the CWF, that came together to hold annual PPV's. The first of these PPV's was to be held in July of 1999. Each fed would send 2 wrestlers to compete in another tournament to decide a UWAC Champion. To be selected for the qualifying tournament was an honor, and to make it to the UWAC to represent the CWF an even bigger accomplishment.

Once the 16 men were chosen, random numbers were drawn to decide the first round match ups. The numbers do not represent seeds. The UWAC Qualifier was held on June 16th, 1999 and was shown live from the CWF Headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
