The Pittsburgh Condors were a professional basketball team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The franchise began as the Toronto Raptors in 1995 before relocating to Pittsburgh due to financial problems and lack of stable ownership. With the relocation, there would be no active franchise in Canada. However, after just only 4 seasons of play in Pittsburgh, the franchise ceased all operations due to continuing financial losses and no city support. As a result, it became the first franchise since league operations began in 1995 to fold.
