The Irish Whip is a professional wrestling move. It is a basic move in which a wrestler maneuvers an opponent in a slingshot fashion off the ring ropes, usually towards the opposite side of the ring to execute further moves. Irish Whips are commonly succeeded by other basic moves such as a Leap Frog over an opponent or baseball sliding underneath the open legs of an opponent.
