John Thomas Scoulding (c.1875-1960) was a trade unionist and Labour Party politician. Scoulding was an official of the Amalgamated Society of Watermen, Lightermen and Bargemen and its successor union the Transport and General Workers Union, and from 1919 a member of West Ham Borough Council. He was Mayor of West Ham in 1931-1932. He was appointed by the government to the Port of London Authority On 1 August 1939 he was co-opted to fill a vacancy as an alderman on the London County Council resigning from the body on 29 April 1941.
