The level of democratic expectations describes how much faith the people of the world have in the democracy of Tropico. If expectations are high, people assume that democracy works well and are particularly shocked at any signs of fraud. If expectations are low, people are cynical and nonplussed about evidence of corruption. The US is particularly favorable of high democratic expectations and having them will boost relations.
