  • The "Haneda incident" was a terrorist attack that occurred in autumn 2018. The attack, commonly believed to have been planned by remnants of the fallen New Russian Federation and the criminal syndicate Blatnoi, targeted United States Navy assets stationed near the Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan. In September 15, a group of unidentified gray aircraft entered Tokyo airspace, exploiting a shortcoming in local Self-Defense Force radar coverage discovered in an unauthorized incursion over the area a year prior. The attackers used electronic countermeasures to disable local radar before attacking Haneda. The damage and casualties caused by the attack are unknown, although the incident was considered by the public as the "Japanese September 11th".
