They appear to resemble a cutlass you can acquire in FATE. Unfortunatly, by killing one of these monsters, they do not drop as a weapon, which seems rather odd on why not. There is a stronger version of these things, called an Elite Cursed Sword.

Also, there is a charm spell that allows you to summon Cursed Swords. The spell summons 1 Cursed Sword per cast, and are innitaly at level 7. They are summoned for 10 seconds longer and are 1 level stronger for each point you put into the charm magic skill. Cursed Sword is a damage-dealing Dark-type move introduced in Generation 7.
