| - Macer Torin was a Force-sensitive Human male who served the Galactic Republic as a Jedi Knight. He was a Jedi General during the Clone Wars. He was born to Alian Torin, Chief Warrior of Cardellia and Princess Mintias Opunus, a member of the Royal Family of Derton. Macer Torin one of the few survivors of the Great Jedi Purge imposed by Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. He was the brother of Dark Jedi, Cortac Torin. He was the father of the legendary Jedi Chancellor of the New Republic, Aidan Torin and Jedi Knight Cilliana Torin and grandfather of Jedi Knight Bane Torin, Jedi Knight Ian Null and the Dark Jedi Ryat Null. Born in 38 BBY on Achillea , Torins Jedi potential was recognized when he was at the young age of fourteen months. Torin was taken as the Jedi apprentice of Garen Muln , a Jedi Master who survived the Purge. In 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars, Torin attained knighthood and was given the position of Jedi General of the Republic, having attained these titles at the age of seventeen he become the youngest Jedi Knight and Jedi General in the history of the galaxy. Torin was taken as an apprentice by Jedi Master Garen Muln at the age of eleven and went on many missions with him including the Hutt Insurgency . One mission which had a significant impact upon Torins life was the mission to the planet, Viora . Torin went on the mission with his brother, Cortac, and his master. The Order had secretly sent them there to look-upon the rumors of cloned super-soldiers being built by the Viorans for the CIS . What they found was Count Dooku with an army of a hundred Super-Clones . While Garen dueled Dooku, Cortac and Torin battled against the Super-Clones. In the end Garen was mortally wounded and Cortac gave his life to destroy the Super-Clones. The loss of his brother took Torin dangerously close to the dark side. Torin fought in the Clone Wars as a Jedi Commander and then as a Jedi General. In 22 BY, Torin took over the command of a Republic fleet after its initial commander, Jedi General Kenobi, was injured in an ambush . The fleets mission was to destroy the Monji-Tal shipyards. Most of the ships in the fleet were damaged in the ambush but Torin managed to secure a great victory for the Republic anyways, The Republic awarded him by bestowing upon him the rank of General and the Jedi Order awarded him by raising him to the position of Jedi Knight. Torin , on a mission to Malachite , found his brother alive and seduced by the dark side. After declining his brothers offer to join him Torin dueled with Cortac and managed to defeat him by slashing his right leg off. Torin was then attacked by MagnaGuards , this allowed his brother to escape. Torin and Cortac met once again on the Gunian-class dreadnought , Strike Point , which was under attack by Republic ships. Torin dueled and defeated Cortac once again but was attacked by Cortacs apprentice, Numa. Torin Force-pushed Numa on to a wall which rendered him unconscious. Torin, unable to kill his brother, left him on the doomed ship which was crashing down on to the planet of Covin. Torin was in the Jedi Academy on Coruscant when Order 66 was evoked. He defended the Jedi younglings from the clone troopers but was defeated in a duel by Anakin Skywalker who had become Darth Vader. Vader Force-pushed Torin down to the depths of Coruscant. Torin managed to use the Force to get on a taxi speeder, which he used to go to the Republic Senate from where he contacted Kenobi who told him all that had happened. Torin fought his way through clone troopers to get to a ship, which he used to leave the planet. Torin went to his home planet, Achillea. There, with the help of his grandfather, King Iotus, he put together a rebel army to fight against the new Galactic Empire . He named his army the Republic Remnant Resistance Front or the Front for short. The Front was successful in the beginning, attacking homebound Imperial Star Destroyers and ambushing trade routes which supplied the Imperial Navy. In one attack on Coruscant, the Front managed to destroy the Imperial Palace, killing thousands of stormtroopers, hundreds of Imperial Guards , four of the Red Guard and injuring the Emperor himself. After this attack however, the Front was hunted down and destroyed. After six years of fighting the Empire, Torin escaped and fled to the planet of Yuvaani. On Yuvaani, Torin lived as a beggar in the sandy town of Onek . He became the town hero after defeating a band of raiders single-handed with his lightsaber. It was in Onek where he met Aleema , daughter of the town mayor, who he got married to in 10 BBY. Around 2 ABY, Torin was contacted by Garm Bel Iblis to join his faction of the Rebel Alliance . Torin accepted his offer and left Aleema promising her that he would come back. Upon joining Iblis' resistance movement, Torin requested Iblis to keep the fact that he was a Jedi a secret. Iblis named Torin his second in command and the two waged a successful war against the Empire and even though they were never as successful as Mon Mothma ’s Rebel Alliance, the two were able to deal hard blows against the Empire. In 3 ABY, Torin dueled Darth Vader on Coruscant during a recovery mission and, this time, managed to defeat Vader and escape before the Imperial Forces managed to surround the area. After the Battle of Endor, Iblis' movement disbanded, many members joining the Rebel Alliance. Torin went back to Yuvaani to find Alleema with his six year old son, Aidan Torin. Much to Macer, Aidan was glowing with the Force and so he began to train him immediately. Eventually, Torin is named Mayor of Onek in 10 ABY, a title he does not hold on for long before leaving after hearing of Luke Skywalker 's Jedi Praxeum. Once again he leaves behind Aleema, but he takes Aidan with him. Luke Skywalker is suprised to see a fully-fledged Jedi coming from out of the blue and begs Torin to take him as an apprentice. While he is at first doubtful , Torin changes his mind when he hears how Anakin Skywalker, his old friend, had died doing right. Torin spent the next ten years one the planet training Luke, Aidan, and the Solo twins, only leaving the planet Yavin to to bring his wife. In 20 ABY, a Sith Lord with a double-bladed lightsaber attacked the Jedi Praxeum. Macer manages to barely manages to defeat the Sith lord and is injured. This attack marked the beginning of the the Galactic War. Meanwhile, an attack on Coruscant by an army of black armored soldiers forces Torin to take action in defense of the New Republic. Even though he was injured he managed to single-handedly turn the tide on the attack, guarding the Republic Senate building from the wave after wave of the
