Towers of Light are structures that protect your Citadel from enemy demigods and reinforcements. They cause damage by firing beams of light, and can increase each others damage by chaining energy from one tower to the next. Each map has a equal number of light and dark towers, although the Rook can create weaker versions of his team's towers.

  • Tower of Light is both seen and mentioned in the season three finale "Graduation." It's actually made of the Moon Pool sea water and was originally made by the Irish mermaid Eva (whom the comet was named after) in 1740; and is again made by Bella (who had replaced Emma), Cleo, and Rikki in the show. The tower was used to stop a comet from hitting the earth in both situations. It is also possible that this is a power and an ability, even though it has been created in two totally separate locations: Mako Island and the Sea Caves of Ireland, which is the very same sea cave where Bella became a mermaid at the age of nine.
  • The Tower of Light is a room in the Chozo Ruins in Metroid Prime, and is where Samus acquires the Wavebuster. The Tower of Light also provides access to a chamber which holds one of 12 Chozo Artifacts, the Artifact of Lifegiver. The room itself is a very tall tower with many suspended platforms all the way up and a pool of water at the bottom. In the water is a large Chozo Statue facing a round metal hole that leads to the Tower Chamber door. To reach it, however, the Gravity Suit is required to jump up a step.

The room itself is a very tall tower with many suspended platforms all the way up and a pool of water at the bottom. In the water is a large Chozo Statue facing a round metal hole that leads to the Tower Chamber door. To reach it, however, the Gravity Suit is required to jump up a step. The Wavebuster is found at the very top of the tower, but it is only possible to climb so far. The Wavebuster can be acquired by destroying 12 columns, weakened over time due to age and physical stress. To go higher, Samus must fire 6 Missiles or a Super Missile at each of 4 weak pillars around the room. Destroying these pillars will lower the height of the entire room, allowing Samus to reach the top of the tower. This process must be repeated twice more to reach the Wavebuster, now with the need to avoid Oculi on the weak sections when shooting: these creatures reflect Missiles and Super Missiles. Plated Puffers appear too, but they explode when Samus moves two ledges higher.
