The entire group performed under the name "The Scousers." Composer Frank Ravey was head teacher at St. Aidan's School; he recruited students to provide backing vocals. Proceeds from the record were donated to the Walton Hospital Leukemia Fund, the Royal School for the Blind, and St. Aidan's.
