- Man must rearrange various elements of his environment to eventually produce a desired end - a good. This is called production. For example, man decides to satisfy the want for a ham sandwich, and proceeds to act upon his judgment of the methods by which a ham sandwich can be assembled. The consumers good is the ham sandwich when it is eaten. It is obvious that there is a scarcity of this consumers’ good as there is for all direct means (bread, ham, time, etc.); otherwise it would always be available, like air, and would not be the object of action.
- Production was a position at Egmont Fleetway. People in this role may have been responsible for the production of Sonic the Comic. The job title was first credited in the small print of Issue 28's Control Zone, with Teresa Magnowska in the position. She was replaced by Sarah Colley in Issue 42, who remained with the comic into the reprint era, although it wasn't until Issue 71 that "production" received equal billing with the other jobs. The role was not mentioned in Issue 223, suggesting Colley had left the comic prior to this.

- Production is one of the main statistics in the Civilization games. It determines how quickly a given city can train units, construct buildings and wonders, or finish projects.

The series has also been released in Japan by Aniplex across nine DVDs, each containing three episodes, except for the first DVD, which had only two. The ninth and final DVD included an original video animation, which expanded upon the romantic relationships between characters. The DVDs were released between July 25, 2007 and March 26, 2008 by Aniplex. FUNimation received the license for the series in Region 1 and has released one DVD compilation with two more coming in the future. The first English DVD was released on November 25, 2008 and the second and third DVDs were released on January 20, 2009 and March 10, 2009 respectively. Volume 4 was released on May 5, 2009 with Volume 5 released on June 23, 2009. Volume 6 is scheduled for release August 11, 2009 The episodes have four pieces of theme music: two opening themes and two closing themes. "Howling" by Abingdon Boys School served as the opening theme for the first fourteen episodes, while episodes fifteen through twenty-three and episode twenty-five had "Kakusei Heroism: The Hero Without A Name" by An Cafe as the opening. Episode twenty-four had no opening theme. "Tsukiakari" by Rie fu served as the closing theme for the first fourteen episodes and "Dreams" by High and Mighty Color was the closing theme for the last ten.

Tracks from the Associated Production Music library were also utilized. KaBlam! was the first show to be spun off of All That. It was pitched to Nickelodeon in 1994 and aired two years later. Some of its shorts were originally stand-alone shorts during Nickelodeon commercial breaks. The pilot episode, "Your Real Best Friend", was created in 1995 and finished in 1996. In 1996, The Off-Beats, one of the many shorts on the show, were released on a Rugrats videotape entitled "Tommy Troubles." The show began production in 1996 and premiered October 11. The show ran for four seasons. The last episode was broadcast on May 27, 2000. Reruns CONTINUED to show on Nickelodeon until 2001. In 2002, Nicktoons was launched, and the channel began airing reruns of the PROGRAM, though not all episodes were aired. During commercial breaks, various shorts from the show would play, not including any shorts involving Henry and June or music videos. In August 2005, Nicktoons changed its appearance and schedule, and canceled many shows in the process, including KaBlam!. After the show was cancelled, the "KaBlam! Presents:" shorts would continue to be shown, until 2008 when the channel did away with all of their in-between shorts, for more commercial space. The program hasn't been shown since then until 2016, not even when Nick had a marathon of the first episodes of each Nicktoon on Thanksgiving Day 2007, despite having Henry and June on the cover of the now-defunct Nickelodeon Magazine. It reaired on The Splatlight night in October, airing only Your Real Best Friend, It's Flavorific, and Not Just For People Anymore. A French-dubbed version has been broadcast in France on television channel GameOne and other versions of the show are on other Nickelodeon channels around Europe. It also was shown in the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2000, and in Poland from 1999 to 2002. The show played onYTV in Canada.

- Production in Jumpgate Evolution consists of pilots interacting with certain factories in space that handle the creation of a desired item. This means that producing equipment for resale is quite a time-consuming activity, as the pilot needs to first collect all the required goods and materials for production. The pilot then has to fly to the sector where the factory is located in order to manufacture the item(s). Due to the time consuming nature of this process, it will most likely be commonplace for handfuls of pilots to deal with the sale of a small range of items rather than one pilot dealing with the creation and resale of dozens of separate items, which is something quite commonplace in other MMOs. Currently it is unknown how players will interact with factories, but will most likely involve pilots physically docking and choosing the quantity of items they wish to produce. The factory then creates and deposits the good/s into the ship's cargo almost instantaneously. As developers have stated, they do not wish the act of item production to take more than a few seconds once the player has arrived at the factory. [citation needed] In relation to production, it has been confirmed that production will not include any form of blueprint system found in other games, where players can create their own items through obtaining item designs. This will mean that each pilot will have an equal opportunity to establish themselves as a prominent market figure, rather than other players refusing those who weren't lucky enough to stumble on equipment designs the chance to enter the profession. Those familiar with Jumpgate Classic should also be aware that the original game's form of public market floors is something that has been declared removed from the Jumpgate Evolution build early on in 2008, so production and trading will be much more focused around player interaction.
