This technique is often used in correlation with Sayuri's Fire Release Armour, granting the latter the ability an even higher level of defense, forcing the enemy to think twice before coming into direct means of contact. Furthermore, while conducting Sage Mode from under the armor, Sayuri seems to negate the sluggish effect this set of sturdy armor would normally bring.
