J. Sizzle's was once the flagship business in a chain of steakhouses managed by Jay Sizzle. But during the war, he fell on hard times and enlisted the assistance of the Cuneo crime family, despite being closely associated with the Corleones. He was saved from bankrupcy by Lorenzo Allegro who also ensured he did not defect. This arrangement worked until the Fifties, when Aldo Trapani convinced Sizzle to change allegiance, and Allegro soon followed him.
