- A high road ran between Ost-in-Edhil and Khazad-dûm, built during the Second Age by the Elves of Eregion and The Dwarves of Khazad-dûm, it enabled an unprecedented friendship between the two peoples and would last as long as their realms did. Eregion's jewel smiths, under Celebrimbor, achieved the highest levels of craftsmanship since Fëanor, and the Dwarves of Durin III's work in Mithril enamored all who beheld them as trade between the two realms grew. It would be well into The Forth Age until another friendship between Elf and Dwarf would come close to this alliance.
- Great! The CEO has been defeated! Now you must keep going right, but carefully; this level is Road to Nowhere; hard, very hard version!- Level description The High Road (カメカメ ジャンプ lit. Turtle Turtle Jump in Japanese) is the twenty-third level (including boss fights), is the second and last bridge type of level and is the sixth level of the third island in the original Crash Bandicoot. This level is like Road to Nowhere, but with more complex jumps. It has slippery platforms and platforms that break. There are many turtles which can be knocked over so Crash can bounce further and is essential for proceeding through the level.

There are many turtles which can be knocked over so Crash can bounce further and is essential for proceeding through the level. There is a secret area behind the entrance to the level, in which Crash can move and jump and bridge platforms will appear in certain spots. This leads to some crates. A wumpa fruit hanging over the edge is the hint that there is a path there.
