Har Gobind Khorana was a twentieth century Human male originally from India, and a Nobel Prize-winning biochemist. Some of his most important work focused on gene chemistry and protein synthesis, which led to the creation of a completely artificial yeast gene. One of Khorana's students, Sarina Kaur, built upon this research in her own genetic engineering efforts, eventually resulting in the successful birth of Khan Noonien Singh and other Human Augments.
