An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

Although based on the Egyptian god of mummification and death the Anubis seen in Mummies Alive! was a much more standard henchman-type villain who was also used for mild comedic effect. Anubis was one a number of "hounds" sent by Scarab to retrieve the soul of Rapses - yet the "hounds" were no match for the mummies that had been sworn to defend Rapses. Anubis was a fairly experienced sorcerer and was able to stand his own against the mummies for a brief period before he and his fellow pack of "hounds" were returned to the realm of the gods.
