The Ice Palace is the fifth dungeon in the Dark World, and the ninth overall, in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It is located on an island situated in the middle of Ice Lake in the southeast corner of Hyrule. It is the Dark World equivalent of the Pond of Happiness.

  • When Avin and the group arrive in Koruna, they hear from the people there that apparently Avin's sister was seen in the palace a few days ago. They travel to the palace and explore it, finding a red book, the Book of Life, in a broken black object on top of the altar. Later on in the story, Eimelle explains that she heard Durga talk to her when she was at the palace. She received a crystal object which was in fact a sacred treasure called Kuerupo and gives it Avin.
  • Graves's Ice Palace resides in Iceland and he uses it for his Icarus satellite launch party, the human element of the visitors apparently balancing out the cold of the palace to make it tolerable without melting. Next to the palace there is a bio dome which houses a fake mine and Graves's headquarters. Graves later uses the Icarus satellite to melt the palace in an effort to kill NSA agent Jinx, although she survived thanks to Bond.
