For Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans, Thom appears in overacting form as the main villain, Troxartas (who resembles The Muppets' character Sam the Eagle), who gets killed by John Allen Nelson's fake, plastic sword in Experiment 703 Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell. He was later seen in the 1985 film Wizards of the Lost Kingdom which was a similar fantasy production and premise only this time riffed by RiffTrax in spring of 2016.
