- The Scorpions is the original name of the Forever Knight fan faction devoted to Nick's boss in Season One, Capt. Joe Stonetree. In 1994, shortly after the first six factions were created, there was a minor move to create additional affiliations for other Season One characters, such as Alma, Grace, and Stonetree. For the last, the name "Scorpions" was suggested. This references a folk tale that he recounts to Schanke in "Dark Knight": However, although Stonetree was a moderately popular supporting character, the faction never really materialized.
