(DS9 novel: A Stitch in Time) Timot was also responsible for the genetic procedure used by the Obsidian Order to allow Cardassian agents to pass as members of other humanoid races (and vice versa). This procedure was used to convince Tekeny Ghemor that Kira Nerys was his long-lost daughter, Iliana. (DS9 episode: "Second Skin", DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry) Sometime after the end of the Dominion War, Timot also devised a way to access the Vinculum, a mysterious realm described in ancient Hebitian texts as a metaphysical nexus that connects all knowledge and all creation. (DS9 - Prophecy and Change short story: "The Calling")
