Destly Nevris was an Imperial Admiral in the Vlanc Empire, a system of government which was ruled by the descendants of Grand Moff Ozzaris Vlanc and encompassed the Spadja, Savareen and Auril sector. Nevris himself was the nephew of the emperor of the time, Kendal Vlanc by marriage, and many suspected that he only gained his rank through this connection. Despite this, Nevris did display skill and competency in his role of admiral, and was respected by his crew. He was often accompanied by a pet tach, which often rode on his shoulder, even when Nevris was on duty. His flagship was a Scythe-class main battle cruiser known as the Aurora.
