- Heart Stone (also known as Heartstone) is a limited Rare Gem in Bejeweled Blitz. It is a red gemstone, with a white border, that resembles a heart shape. This Rare Gem was created as a way to celebrate Valentine's Day. When the player begins a game with Heart Stone activated, one of three special starting layouts appears. All three configurations include unique red gems that resemble heart shapes. A heart functions identically to a Flame Gem, except a heart clears 12 gems in a 5×4 heart-shaped pattern instead. The base value for clearing a heart is 3,250 points. While Heart Stone is active, hearts replace random red gems throughout the game, and Flame Gems created using red gems become hearts instead. After the Last Hurrah, a Coin bonus occurs in which nine heart icons appear in a 3×3 arrangement. When the player selects an icon, it reveals a numerical Coin value that is then added to the player's Coin total.
