Sounds of Sesame Street is a 2000 Sesame Street storybook that combines interactive sound and lift-the-flaps. Beneath each flap is a symbol, cueing the reader to press the corresponding sound button on the keypad. The story centers on Grover, who is anxious to play banjo accompaniment while Elmo sings. Unable to find his instrument, Grover looks around Sesame Street (including Around the Corner locations like the Furry Arms) but finds other sources of music instead. Elmo finally points out that Ernie has been playing Grover's banjo at 123 Sesame Street all along.
