Brazhekev struggled in the inaugural G-League season, finishing 5th, and missing out on the four-team semi-finals series, 2 points short of the semi-finals. Managed by the infamous Zhorah Grigor'eva and boasting two key national team players, the holding midfielder and club captain Jermija Zarubezhanin, and the pacy striker Slavochka Ankudinov (whose goals kept the team alive in season 305/6), Brazhekev fans are hoping that good times are not too far away.
