- Non was General Zod and Ursa's lacky. He appeared to be a mute, and according to Jor-El, his only means of expression were wanton violence and destruction. He was imprisoned at the same time as Zod and Ursa, and was freed with them.
- BG-non is a setting with no background for Powder Game and Powder Game 2. The only thing shown on the screen are the blocks, elements, and objects, with no special effect. No air/wind display or background effects are shown in any way. It is the most simple background for Powder Game. Oddly, it was not the first BG, or packaged with the first version. (Line was the only BG up to ver2.3.)

- In "Lethal Weapons", Ursa, Zod, and Non were seen in The Drunken Clam during the time when Peter was starting fights with the New Yorkers so Lois would beat them up. When Peter said "Krypton sucks", Zod and his gang attacked him, but Lois threw all three of them into the Phantom Zone, where they drifted off into space much like the beginning of the movie, Superman.

- Nam-ek is an enemy of Superman. He was portrayed in the films Superman: The Movie and Superman II by Jack O'Halloran. In most depictions, he's mainly a silent type, and a strongman. Along with Ursa, he fills out the Zod Trio, a trio of Zod and his disciples. Non is a Kryptonian grunt.
- Lieutenant Non is a Kryptonian criminal, warlord, former military lieutenant and inmate of Fort Rozz. He is the husband of the late Astra and the second-in-command of their army, though after her death he seems to have taken over her role as commander, becoming one of Supergirl's chief antagonists.
- Non is a Kryptonian soldier. He is the mute minion of General Zod, and between him and Ursa, he's the real muscle of the team.

- Non was a thick-bodied soldier who served in the Raynor's Raiders Char campaign. He kept track of his team's location, as he "always liked to know" where they were. Non wasn't bothered by the alliance with the protoss. Non took part in the Raiders's attack against the zerg hive cluster guarding Kerrigan's chrysalis. He survived to assist in the retreat. Lieutenant Deke Cavez put him in charge of five wounded troopers, set to guard the Raiders' camp. He assisted Lieutenant Abernathy in moving wounded soldiers to a shuttle during a zerg attack.

- Non was a friend and scientific colleague of Jor-El. When the Kryptonian Science Council discovered that two of their most revered scientists, Jor-El and Non, had determined that in a short matter of time, Krypton would suffer geothermic upheaval that would destroy the entire planet, they branded the two as heretics and sent General Zod and his militants to Jor-El's laboratory to arrest them. The Science Council administered a stern warning to them, and set them free.
