Aût (/ayt/ or /aut/) was an Empire that lasted, in some form or another, for over 1500 years on the Continent of Aût, around 1750 miles off the shores of Enterrisö, and less than half the size. It was famed for it's culture, it's linguistic knowledge which paved the way for the discovery of Magic, and for it's army, an effective and deadly force consisting of mostly ethnic Aûtaens loyal to their nation. They are, however, perhaps most famous for the colonization of the Continent of Enterrisö, which lead to the myriad of cultures and languages that formed on the continent. Almost all humans can trace themselves back to some Aûtaen colonist or warrior.
