Louis Carlo Franceschetti (born March 28, 1958) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player. He was born in Toronto, Ontario. Drafted in 1978 by the Washington Capitals, Francheschetti also played for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres. He retired from active play in 1996. He turned pro with the Capitals organization in 1978 and did not become an NHL regular until 1985-86. The Capitals traded him to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1989. He played in the minor pros and Europe until his retirement in 1996.

Lou enjoyed his best NHL season in 1989-90 with the Leafs by scoring 21 goals and 15 assists. his play went downhill from there and a trade to the Buffalo Sabres in 1991 did not help. He played in the minor pros and Europe until his retirement in 1996.
