- The Gurren Lagann manga was created in October 2007 by Kotaro Mori. Ten volumes were released. The story of the manga follows the same plotline as the anime, however, there are several changes to the layout of events, and the addition of backstories that essentially fills in gaps from the anime. - In the manga, it first shows Yoko fighting the three Gunmen up on the surface which one of them later crashes down into Giha village. - In the manga, the Giha chief's Pig moles are shown in Jiha village as if the Chief has a wall cage for them.

- Eyeshield 21 is a Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The series tells the story of Sena Kobayakawa, an introverted boy who joins an American football club as a secretary, but after being coerced by Yoichi Hiruma, turns out to play wearing an eyeshield and the number 21, under the pseudonym of "Eyeshield 21". Inagaki chose American football as a central subject of Eyeshield 21 after realizing that it fit perfectly with his idea for the series.

Manga (jap. マフヤ, rzadziej マクタサ) – specyficzny styl rysowania komiksów wymyślony przez Japończyków. Rysowanie polega na poświęceniu godziny w celu stworzenia oczu postaci. Następnie ma się dosyć i macha się byle jak kreski zamiast ust. Na podstawie najlepiej sprzedających się mang tworzy się anime. W Polsce wydawaniem mangi zajmują się między innymi Japonica Pierdzi i Fika (JPF), Vaneco, Eggmonth, Adriano Cielencino oraz Szczaisika.
- Manga 「漫画 Manga?」 es la palabra con la que generalmente se denominan a aquellas historietas contadas en forma de viñetas con diversas ilustraciones en blanco y negro que son un signo de la cultura japonesa. Existen multitud de géneros dentro del manga y que abarcan asimismo la mayor parte del espectro de edades. El manga también tiene una gran relación con el anime, lanzándose con frecuencia en versión animada los mangas más exitosos de la actualidad o viceversa.

There are three Drama CDs of TRC & Holic (the fourth on its way) of the so-called Horitsuba Gakuen- an alternate universe created by the authors.
