  • Zombies are the titular enemies of the video-game "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" and are also the most recurring and numerous monster found in the game, they are a parody of the kind of zombies found in films such as the Living Dead: in which they are depicted as slow-moving and slow-witted rather than fast and cunning. Innumerable legions of these undead creature emerge in almost every single level of the game (with the exception of some themed-worlds) and although slow-moving they can easily overwhelm the hero due to sheer numbers, luckily due to their slow speed it is usually fairly easy to avoid them. Like most zombies in fiction the Zombies of "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" are driven by a desire to eat brains, though it is never specifically mentioned in the game - however they will pursue the hero and victims alike in search of food and if a player isn't quick enough these Zombies can and will devour the victims the hero is meant to save.
