The Enlightenment of Days was a religious philosophy found among the Fornorae. It held the belief that life was to be lived in the constant anticipation that death could, and would, strike without warning at any moment. New insights and accomplishments were therefore to be taken from each and every day. In this way, an individual would always have achievement to bring wit them when doom came.

  • The Enlightenment of Days was a religious philosophy found among the Fornorae. It held the belief that life was to be lived in the constant anticipation that death could, and would, strike without warning at any moment. New insights and accomplishments were therefore to be taken from each and every day. In this way, an individual would always have achievement to bring wit them when doom came. A deeply fatalistic philosophy, this belief system was shaped by the environment of Fortoral, the adopted Fornorae homeworld. Beyond the broad and basic scope, the concept was broken apart into many variations, with complex and even labyrinthine doctrines developed on the nature of understanding, fate, and the nature of death. These were central to Fornorae life, but largely impenetrable to outsiders. The Fornorae were aware of the Force, in the form of an energy field connecting life, even prior to contact by the Republic. Many higher ranking religious figures were Force-sensitive. They did not believe that the Force had any ability to change the immutability of Fate or that it's existence compromised their beliefs.
