| - Tigerclaw had just wandered in to camp. "I have a message for Bluestar" he meowed. "Can it wait?" Fireheart said. "She's recovering from greencough" "No it can't!" Tigerclaw snapped. "It's very important!" "Just wait a while" Tigerclaw grumped away and chose a mouse from the fresh kill pile. Don't ask me how I remember that, I just do. Hearing the entire conversation, I bounced up to Fireheart. I was his apprentice at the time, and I was so full of energy. "I'll do it!" I meowed excitedly, "I'll go!" Fireheart didn't want to put me in danger. "No Cinderpaw" he said, "you stay here. I'll send a warrior" "But-" I began to argue. "No! I don't want you to get hurt okay?" "Ok" I mumbled, hanging my head. I wandered away to the apprentices den. This could be a very important message! I thought to myself. What if ShadowClan are attacking? What if a warrior is dead? What if they're coming for Bluestar? Fireheart told me she was on her last life. I wanted to be the hero for my Clan! Plus, I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to impress Fireheart. I really liked him, you know. Ever since he saved my siblings and I from ShadowClan, I had feelings for him. Not telling any cat, especially not Fireheart, I snuck out of camp... I quickly made my way to where Tigerheart had said. When I got there, I was really confused. There was no one there! I was sure this was where Tigerclaw had said he had a message for Bluestar. My nose caught a scent, it was coming from the other side of the Thunderpath. I started to follow it, Then, I heard it. The monster, coming straight for me! I tried to back away, but there was no time. The next thing I remember was a crushing pain in my leg. I woke up to Tigerclaw standing over me. There was a look in his eyes. A twisted look, one that I didn't expect to be there. It wasn't shock, it wasn't concern, it wasn't even sadness. It was pure anger. Complete hatrid. "Tigerclaw, help me" I groaned. Tigerclaw just turned his back and left me.
