  • The Overlord is the main antagonist on the Angry Joe Show, and is the master of Corporate Commander and Evil Joe.
  • The Overlord was created in AD.79 by scientists seeking a robot that could kill Bob Saget and Chuck Norris. They sort of succeced...but when they finished, they realized they forgot to put it so it didn't kill them. It killed the people and went on a rampage. After destroying all of the city, it leaped into the universe, never to be seen again until 1890...
  • They are usually savage warriors, have the loyalty of Gnarl, can summon and control armies of Minions through a special gauntlet, and can use powerful dark Magic.
  • The man known as The Overlord was a criminal mastermind whose repeated attempts to conquer humanity brought him into continual conflict with the Super Friends.
  • The Overlord is an Exobyte enhanced New Villain. Once an ordinary citizen until Future Lex Luthor unleashed a wave of Exobytes upon the Earth, he now works with the Secret Society of Super-Villains to fight for his own interests.
  • The Overlord is a villain from the Eternal Champions series. Although always remaining unseen, The Overlord is a machine who has gained control over an entire futuristic city, possibly extending his reach to the whole of Planet Earth. Although it is unclear how exactly it managed to get so powerful, its origins are explained by the rise of Bio-Key technology developed by Nakano Industries. The Overlord combines processing power supposedly with neural sensors, allowing it to completely control all humans still living in the city, communicating with them directly in The Dream Bank.
  • The Overlord is the leader of The Corrupted. According to Dr. West, whenever a gateway to The Abyss is opened, The Overlord is always the first to crossover. After that, then the other Corrupted can cross over and can begin feeding off the worlds of the universe. The Overlord is also known as "Ahriman: The Terror That Stalks by Night" in the Zoroastian version of the Old Testament, "The Great Devourer" in the Necronomicon and "Y'siggthugga" by the insectoid race that once lived on planet Famosa. This race burned their entire planet as a sacrifice to the Overlord.
  • This object is a random drop from Hades (Drop Rate: 8 - 10%), the main boss of the game at the end of the game, and so it'll be a while before you can reach the Secret Passage -- at least on the "normal" difficulty setting. The Overlord will stay with you and work on the other difficulty settings, and so once you've acquired it, you'll always be able to open the gate.

As suggested above, the Overlord is a highly feared and extremely powerful member of the Corrupted. It's true name is unknown, as is the full extent of the Overlord's power. However, it's believed that the Overlord could single-handedly eradicate all life on a planet. Towards the end of Splatterhouse (2010), The Overlord emerges from the Abyss and builds itself a body made from debris and a large number of corpses. As the Overlord advanced towards Rick and Jennifer, some corpses began to fall off and were given life once more. When he was close enough, Rick transformed into his Berserker form, and tore out the Overlord's heart.

The Overlord combines processing power supposedly with neural sensors, allowing it to completely control all humans still living in the city, communicating with them directly in The Dream Bank. The Overlord's true nemesis is The Eternal Champion, a martial arts master tasked with defeating the machine. To aid him, nine Eternal Champions were summoned to nip The Overlord's creation in the bud. Unfortunately, all they succeded in doing was speeding up The Overlord's concepting, trapping the events in a stable time loop.

The Overlord will stay with you and work on the other difficulty settings, and so once you've acquired it, you'll always be able to open the gate. Aquiring this item and use it on Overlord's Gate in Coastal Asomata, opens the Secret Passage, which is an Easter Egg in the game. If the Passage has been cleared, you will found an enormous majestic chest at the end. It has a high chance to drop unique items (in Legendary, the avarage Drop Rate of an unique item: 20 - 35%)
