Stasis pods were modified by the Exoplanetary Raven Council to also make you age backwards while you are in stasis, in effect making you live a lot longer. Nobody has ever tried de-aging a newborn baby, but theoretically it would die. These de-aging pods only worked on Ravens until the late 24th century in which they were upgraded to suppot humanoid life forms.
